Hosting and server logs

IONOS provides our website hosting and email services and processes the corresponding data on our behalf.

When you visit our website, IONOS processes technical information such as the requested page, access time, browser, operating system, referring page and anonymised IP address.

This processing helps provide the website and maintain its security and stability. According to IONOS’s web hosting documentation, visitor log data is retained for eight weeks.

IONOS WebAnalytics

We use IONOS WebAnalytics to analyse website usage and improve our website. Statistics include requested pages, referring websites, access times, browser, operating system and device type.

According to IONOS, WebAnalytics does not use cookies. Visitors’ IP addresses are anonymised immediately after transmission and processed without identifying individual visitors.

Contact enquiries

When you contact us through our enquiry forms or by email, we process the information you provide, including your contact details and message, to respond to and discuss your enquiry.

We use WPForms Lite to provide our enquiry forms. Entry backups through WPForms Lite Connect are disabled. Enquiries are delivered through our IONOS email service.

SureMail records outgoing emails within WordPress, including enquiry information contained in those emails. These logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. This does not delete correspondence from our email inbox.

We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and comply with applicable legal retention obligations.

Providing information is voluntary. Without sufficient contact details and information about your enquiry, we may be unable to respond.

Legal bases

We process personal data necessary to operate and secure our website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.

We handle general enquiries and communications with business representatives under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining business relationships. Where processing is necessary for a contract with you personally, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies.

For the processing involved in IONOS WebAnalytics, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in understanding website usage and improving our website.

Where retention is required by law, processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To exercise your rights, contact info@arposo.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
